Why Drugsministry?

The drugsMinistry is based in Mamelodi, dedicated to helping individuals break free from the grip of drug addiction. We exist to bring hope, healing, and restoration to those affected by substance abuse through a combination of spiritual care and practical support.

The Problem We Face

Like many communities around the world, Mamelodi is deeply affected by drug abuse. Many young people begin using drugs in their late teens, often unaware of the life-altering consequences. In the townships, drugs are rarely pure—they’re often mixed with dangerous substances to increase volume and profits. These mixtures are far more harmful, putting users at even greater risk. Whether smoked or injected, the result is the same: lives are being destroyed.

What We Do

At drugsministry, we believe recovery involves more than just breaking a physical dependency—it requires healing of the heart, mind, and soul. That’s why our approach combines:

Spiritual Support – Offering faith-based counselling, prayer, and guidance for those seeking a new path.

Practical Help – Connecting individuals with rehabilitation services, health resources, and safe spaces for recovery.

Community Engagement – Working with families, local leaders, and churches to build a strong, supportive environment for lasting change.
